Welcome to Coláiste Chú Chulainn

By way of introduction my name is Kevin Cassidy, former captain of the Donegal G.A.A Team. I am also a primary school teacher and I have recently established an Irish language Summer College with a sporting twist.

As a large number of students that attend summer colleges are members of G.A.A. clubs I felt there was an opportunity to promote our national games alongside the promotion of our national language. My goal is to strengthen the link between our games and language.

The classroom courses will focus on the junior and leaving cert curriculums. I hope to offer some scholarship funded places with the support of the G.A.A and the G.P.A.
